Build 1.2.6 Updates

Design:

1. Added some flavor when crushing and walking:

- Civilians stumble before getting crushed making it easier to crush them.

-     Walking close to civilians and cars causes them to lift in the air. Civilians will fall over due to the shake; they will crawl for a while before getting back up and running.

- This will get even better once I add stomping variations 😉


2. Essence (still not official name) can be collected when destroying civilians. 

Essence: Is the source of power that allows the giantess to grow. It is collected from the suffering of others, which in return gives her strength. More about Essence will be available in future lore updates.


3. Temporarily changed the way civilians spawn:

I didn’t like the way civilians were spawning, as it was hard to interact with them. I changed the logic to randomly spawn within a radius. Once I implement a global particle system to simulate a chaotic city (using 2d sprites of civilians running), the civilians will spawn whenever a particle is close enough to interact with.


Technical stuffs:

1. Implemented dynamic navigation system so no matter wherever you are on the map, AI will be able to know where they are. 

2. Bug fixes: civilian will no longer get crushed when giantess is stationary (Thanks for pointing that out Severing ) :) 

3. Blood splatter no longer appear on top of the foot and when other civilians walk over it.

This is amazing! The fall animations are really good I'd love to see more (perhaps more effortless, more sexy) crushing animations Keep up the great work!

There is a category on the page called “controls”. They should be there. I’ll implement the binding list in game when I start working on UI. Also possibly create button customization.

Great ideas! I haven’t implemented any of the UI yet. As for more control over selection, I will implement an aim offset where you can freely choose what to focus on.

Good news everyone! Can you add a Crushed/Stomped/Thrown/Vored People/Cars counter in the next update? Ideally with a score for combos and saving results, and a table of records :) And limit the total number of people to something like 1000? I would also like to be able to control the target selection, for example holding down the Ctrl switches to another type of objects civilians/cars/soldiers/military vehicles.
