Do you like passthrough?
Added 2024-11-12 19:12:01 +0000 UTCI've just tried a couple of porn videos with passthrough with my new Quest 3, but I didn't like them. The artificial p3nls floating above the void and the mismatch of colors between my room and the Augmented Reality CGI model made it a deal breaker for me. But maybe I got bad luck with the specific videos I've tried. Anyway, for this reason I'm not confident to provide future videos with passthrough for now.
What about you? Can you share a video out there with passthrough that you did like?

I think SLR has the majority of funscript content. Some of it AI generated others are manually created. If you’re unfamiliar it’s a script that works with toys like “the handy” to sync strokes to the video being played. Really adds to the immersion.

2024-11-13 14:09:55 +0000 UTCSometimes it works well, sometimes it doesn't. Typically with SLR, the videos with live performers are done well 50% of the time. Even when scenes are filmed in a chroma-keyed room, the experience is much better compared to their "AI driven" passthrough. Other challenges with some chroma rooms are sometimes POV isn't centered, the angles aren't the best, the resolution could be better, etc. It's more of a personal choice for me to be immersed in a scene instead of my home environment. Add a funscript capable toy and all is great in the world!

Contrary to video with Madison, where she is right in the place, so virtual p@nis can be associated with mine. Long story short, I'm for passthrough cgi, at least as experiment

We can see some artifacts (ie: green chromakey boundary) and some lack of spatial orientation. Still thinking if we're should try a passthrough video someday or not...
