Taking a Short Break from Web of Dreams / Pausing Patreon Billing

So, I've spent the last two months working on Web of Dreams along with my rewrite of Aeonica Book 1. The latter is almost 60% done, but I've been getting overwhelmed by juggling two books at once, and I feel like I'm not giving either project the time/attention it deserves. You know that feeling where there's too much work to do, and it makes you not want to do anything? I've felt that way lately, and that's not like me at all.

I thought about taking a break from Aeonica Book 1, but I also want to self-publish that one before the end of the year so I can finally call it "done". Otherwise, I'll keep doing plot-level rewrites until the end of time. Plus there will always be another new book to work on, so delaying won't solve anything.

So here's my plan: I'm going to take a one-month break from the WoS world to work on my Aeonica rewrite. In hindsight, I should have taken a longer break between WoS Book 1 and 2 and done this back this. It would have been much less awkward than pausing mid-book. Instead, I only took a short break (two weeks?) because I didn't want to disappoint people, and I've regretted that ever since. I might have been a little overconfident since I've juggled two projects before, but I also didn't anticipate how much work the later Aeonica chapters would need (I've cut entire chapters and written new scenes from scratch to replace them.)

Anyway, I'll have the next chapter of Web of Dreams posted in mid February, and I should be back into my weekly schedule after that. In the meantime, I found out that you can pause billing on Patreon, so I went ahead and did that for the end of this month (mostly so that I can take a break with a clear conscience.)

Thanks for understanding!
