Welcome to Mount Massive - Outlast (part 1)

Done in a similar manner to Alien Isolation, still heavily edited but with emphasis put on a linear adventure and exploring the game's narrative. I rather like these :) They're quite fun to make between bullshitteries. Sort of like heavily-edited Let's Plays.
Sorry for the delay in getting this done. This was ready Monday but I kept having render errors in Sony Vegas which should be resolved now. Thank you for the advice those Patrons who helped me fix it.
Please tell me your opinions on Outlast in the Youtube comments. I've only just started it, but I found it less chilling than Alien: Isolation and more reliant on jump-scares. Does that stay the same or does it get really unnerving later? Though I admit I found that ending scene really intriguing.
Now working on Random The Culling Bullshittery, which I hope will be ready the weekend after this one. Very much having a giggle so far while making it :)

Oh aye! I'm refreshed by how most of you guys seem okay with bi-weekly schedules if it results in longer videos. Makes things less rushed anyway :)

Looking at other channels that try to do the whole small-business with hired editors and stuff, they might produce good content, but I don't think people are as-inclined to share links and stuff when a video pops up every single day. I'd say keep it up at the pace you're going and people are more likely to share the videos that comes out with their friends.

Basically taking all of the funny moments out of their places in the recorded footage and arranging them in a watchable order for a bullshittery episode. I discovered that I've got roughly 30 minutes of Culling moments for a Random Bullshittery. Mostly of myself and Cyanide.

2016-03-24 19:14:10 +0000 UTCOh of course! Thing is though, it entirely depends on the situation. A couple of weekends ago I was able to make that Fishing Planet video in about 3 days. Because it was about 3 minutes and 30 seconds long. This one is 17 minutes long, therefore it took about 12 days. What's determining the total length? Well generally I try to aim for 8-10 minutes for consistency, but in some cases it makes more sense to aim for longer videos and other shorter. In the Fishing Planet for example, there simply was no more footage available to take it up to 8-10 minutes, as we played it for only 45 minutes one evening. In Outlast's case, 10 minutes would be roughly when I encountered the guy in the wheelchair. So splitting it into two videos wouldn't have made sense for the narrative. That's when things started getting good.

And then I managed to get myself killed halfway through it, after which the chat told me to start searching shelves for the batteries. So I then tried to stitch together the visuals from the second life and the audio from the first in order to make the music sync up. But I think I got the balance right in the end. Thanks for the compliments!

Yes, you could say the developer created the scenarios and jump scares, but you cut your personal experiences perfectly. As an avid watcher of your streams, I know this doesn't come together as beautifully as you've edited it. So long as it makes you happy, never stop what you're doing. It's brilliant.
