EARLY ACCESS - Mount & Blade (first half)

Please bear in mind that it's not quite finished yet. It's entirely up to you whether you'd like to watch it now or wait for the finished product.
So I did end up adding that additional minute in the end. Bringing the run-time up from 10 minutes and 30 seconds to 12 minutes and 25 seconds. On the editing side of things, this edit pulled no punches. In that it's entirely manually keyframed. There were just so few points of clear contrast on the character models for any automated algorithms. So I'm bushed and looking forward to the weekend to recharge :)
The remaining half isn't properly cut yet. But I'm expecting approximately 8 to 12 minutes worth. And it consists of the following segments in approximate order:
- Attempting to be a humanitarian for a group of peasants...which backfires spectacularly.
- Getting summoned to and swept up in a big battle for the Swadian King Harlaus (big sequence)
- Switching sides to the Rhodokians and receiving a "gift".
- Trying to retrieve livestock for a village. Who end up being the most uncooperative cows on planet earth.
- A second battle sequence in which I feel like the prettiest girl at the prom.
So I'll get cracking with those parts ASAP and will update you on that process next week. For now I hope you have a lovely weekend and enjoy the video.

Just watched the first minute. It was enough to make me want to say, "You massive overeditor!"

2018-03-15 19:21:54 +0000 UTCHmmm, do you reckon? I sort of pitched it like a sort of internal monologue. Like the character (in this case, me back when I streamed it) thinking outloud. Initially I reduced the volume for added effect. But on test renders I found that it also reduced the background music too much, ruining the intended feel. Do you reckon the lack of titles is too much of a sacrifice?

2018-03-12 00:27:28 +0000 UTCLoved it :) Only bit of feedback I may have is that maybe the "molesting" stuff might need subtitles as well. Its easy enough to hear, but whenever there are subtitles on a screen I know I am sort of hard-wired to disregard other sounds.. if that makes sense :p
