Womble's Soapbox - DayZ critique overview

Picture not related. This is Lulu from a while ago knawing on a cucumber and looking worried that I might take it away from her. She really likes cucumber.

I've made this index card  to give you a summary of what's going on with the DayZ video I'm working on. I think I shared something similar while ago, but I couldn't find it. I'm aware that we have some new Patrons and thus they might not be clear on what I mean when I say Womble's Soapbox.

Basically I'm creating a video essay/analysis which looks at the DayZ Standalone and goes into a bit more depth about it's mechanics. I've been a seriously disastisfied with the commentary on DayZ thus far, as it focuses on fairly superficial critiques (ie. too many bugs, taking too long, etc), mostly from people who didn't play the DayZ mod. I wanted to add my voice to the pile to show where I think it actually went wrong and why.

This week I'm reworking part 3/10 - Analysis on activities.  I need to condense it down and make it less rambley. I'm hoping to present a revised version to you all soon to hear your thoughts on it.

But why have well cited sources when you can use sweeping assumptions and conjecture?

Make sure you have your primary and secondary sources properly referenced, and be mindful of the deadline. You must have at least three academic sources. You don't need a bibliography but it is encouraged.

Thanks for sharing the list again. :) Sounds all in all like a well-reasoned structure. I am looking forward to seeing the output in the end. Sounds like you have some strong opinions on this. However, I am not super familiar with DayZ, why do you have the farming thing as an extra point? Why do you not put it into the activities part? No matter how ridiculous the farming is by itself.
