September - Training days and next project?

So with the Random Golf It bullshittery finished on Wednesday I decided to use Thursday and Friday for training, which I've been long overdue on to be honest.

The relative ease of the Golf It tracking (compared to Arma and PUBG at least) meant I was able to experiment more with the XYZ rotation keyframing, as you may have noticed. Along with particle generating tools. I was rather keen to experiment and see what they could do.

So I've spent the last couple of days just playing in the After Effects sandpit. Making my subtitles reach critical mass, or wander drunkenly off screen, or zoom around with a bit of motion blur and lots of other silliness.

It's all good practice. At the same time I've also familiarized myself more with hotkeys, how to pre-compose my compositions, and other general effects setting things.

Now then, starting next Monday I probably should continue with at least another part of the DayZ Video Essay, I think. For those not familiar, this is a side project in which I talk about some of the themes of DayZ. The eventual plan is to finish all 10 parts and merge them together to release as one complete video. The most recent draft was part 7 which can be found here if you're interested.

The next two segments should be relatively short, so I'm kind of hoping to be able to do those together and then do another bullshittery after that.  I've also got to bear in mind that I need to fix the Dungeons and Dragons bullshittery, as there are some roadblocks before I can hand it over to an animator.

Much to do!

First now, the weekend! Woo

Most certainly. But I'm simply trying to spread things out a bit. If I do too many of the same type too quickly, then I run out of moments to use and I'm then left with my wheels spinning.

Is it possible for you to do more CSGO Bullshittery vidoes or PUBG

Take time for yourself if you need to. We would much rather see you take some time to relax and avoid creativity/game burnout, than have you siffer in the long run. As for the animations, I think if they're used in *just* the right moments that help drive the situation home, they'll work. If you keep them in reserve and odn't overuse them, it should work out great.
