Good afternoon folks. So after a bit of a long slog, the latest project looks like it's finished. Random Space Engineers Bullshittery (part 4) - https://youtu.be/k7rc5f3SenY
Thank you for being so patient with me over the weeks.
For those not familiar, these are the stream highlights from the moon base we built in part 3. And we managed to get the base properly established and were able to build some fun things.

One of the notable creative changes here is the inclusion of non-comedic battle sequences to showcase the ship-to-ship combat that often takes places in Space Engineers. These presented unique challenges, as keep the user informed insofar as who is fighting who proved to be tricky. Moving text quickly became confusing and overwhelming.
As such, the edit includes annotated damage highlights to show who is being shot at. And what sort of damage their craft is taking.

Additionally, one of the most striking challenges was working around the music that was being played on-stream at the time. As heavily-cut music can be really aggravating to listen to if you don't take great care.
Rather than trying to remove the music, I cut to it instead. Not necessarily to the rhythm, but at least making it a major component of the scene. These tracks were mostly sections of Mechwarrior 4: Vengeances' soundtrack, which makes for fantastic duel compositions, and were very useful at the time. Though something of a headache for me as an editor after the fact.
Those were overwhelmingly the most complicated elements of the edit. As having to both cut around music and keep it punchy without it dragging, is actually difficult.
A special thank you to Nep for providing the voice work for the intro sequences for each ship. Listing their individual quirks. I decided to include a viewer call to action just prior to each duel, in which the viewer is encouraged to "pick a horse", and guess which ship is going to win.

Let me know what you think of it, either here or in the comments. And feel free to ask any questions. Hopefully it turns out okay :) And thank you again for your extremely generous patronage.
The unlisted video will go live in a couple of days. Until then it's for yours eyes only with my sincere thanks.
