Good afternoon folks.
So I've completed a test render for Random Divinity Bullshittery (part 1). And it's available to view here if you're interested. It is however a bit of an early version so you're more than welcome to hold off for the complete version if you'd prefer. It's entirely up to you. This one is missing those nice cinematics I'd really like to add.
This first episode showcases the story from character creation, the destruction of the Merryweather prison ship (tutorial area), and some time spent in Chapter 1's Fort Joy, acclimatising with our surroundings and learning the mechanics.
Follow up episodes will contain the escape from the prison, exploring the ruins on the island that Braccus Rex owned. And then conflicts with Alexandar and Dallis, before escaping to Chapter 2.

So now there's three things I want to do to the video:
As for right now though, tell me what you think. Any feedback is more than welcome. Even if the video is a little incomplete.
Being a narrative-heavy game type, you can see how the DNA is quite different. It's almost the exact opposite of Rocket League, where only fast cuts are necessary. Here, context is required to make sense of what we're doing. As a result it's a tad more of a slow burn.
You can also see my attempt to label certain important NPC's with name tags, to make it clear later in the edits who we're talking about. Let me know if you think it works or not. I'm rather keen to avoid the reaction of "wait, who is that", when we see them again in later episodes.
Also, being the first time we played cooperatively, you can see the stitch job I had to do trying to showcase the quest giver dialogue. Since party members spoke to Withermoore and Gawin completely separately, almost at the same time. So their quests appeared remotely in our quest logs. Later streams had us working much more cooperatively, waiting until everyone was present before talking to a quest giver.

I'm very keen to get started on the cinematics. BewBew, NervousHawk and TwistieZ have collectively provided some excellent work to use as animation assets. And I already have some drafts (mostly for their guidance).
Going to take a couple of days off, maybe go fishing, to reset the brain. Then get straight to it :)
As always, thank you sincerely for letting me do all this stuff. And I hope you like the end product when it's ready.
