ZF DayZ Standalone Server - Update #3
Added 2019-01-22 17:36:05 +0000 UTCSorry there's quite a bit of movement insofar as this DayZ Standalone server is concerned. The clan have now installed some mods, which requires the use of a small launcher.
For those wishing to play DayZ with us:
- Download and install the "DZSA Launcher".
- Open the launcher and go to the Settings in the top right. Make sure the DayZ Standalone Path points to where you have the game installed.
- Search for the Lusty Gusset server and try to join it. You'll get an error saying you don't have the mods, but it'll ask if you want to retrieve them. Say yes.
- This should then queue them to download through Steam. You can manually complete this by going to your Steam library > Downloads.
To get on the whitelist (an experiment at the moment, this might not be a permanent thing):
- Open Teamspeak and go to the ZF server at "zf-clan.com". You may need to wait in the Server Entry lobby area for a TS admin to float up.
- You'll probably be asked for a link to your steam profile to add your ID number. And to pinky-promise not to grief/stream snipe ZF as they roam around the server.
- Once your name is on the whitelist I'm afraid you'll need to wait until it resets (every 4 hours) before it reads the list again.
We're still tweaking settings and mod types behind the scenes, please bear with us. Trying to keep everybody happy. But hope to see you out in the wilderness.

2019-01-23 22:11:11 +0000 UTCAhh yes, sorry. The admin will ask for your steam profile and generally meet and greet to make sure you're not a griefer with a throwaway account. Sorry :S I mean technically you really need a mic for DayZ anyway, since proximity voice is so crucial.

Could you message me your friends steam profile and I'll grab an admin and see if he can be whitelisted on the DayZ server?
