Hope you're having a lovely start to the week folks. Random Onward Bullshittery is on about 4 minutes complete of 10. No problems thus far and everything is going smoothly. Bit of a boring update, I'm afraid.
I'm making a fairly normal pace of about 1 minute of keyframing per day. Not many surprises through the editing, everything is proceeding as normal.
It is haaaard keyframing though. This project isn't pulling any punches. Owing to two challenges that occasionally crop up in the bullshitteries
You can see problem 2.) on the gif below. The throw over my shoulder is eyeballed, and is therefore smooth. And yet the fall from the wall to the ground is keyframed onto the white label of the grenade. Giving it a not so pleasant skippyness that I'm going to try and smooth with another pass.

Neither of these issues are major problems though. They merely require tweaking until it's just right. Even if that means ignoring the object being tracked and trusting your instincts.
In addition, please know that the first half of the video is pretty set. But the second half is a little hazy. I have the clips, but I'm not sure if I'm going to drop some things to the cutting room floor or push the 10 minute duration back a bit. I'll have a review at the midweek.
Since we don't play Onward very frequently, it's probably best to try and include everything worth including. Since a part 2 might be a very long time away, or non-existent if other VR games take centre stage. Be nice to include worthwhile stuff, even if it takes a little longer, I think.
This Friday I should be somewhere in the 7th minute out of 10. And the week after, brushing up against the completion. Editing continues!
