Thank you very much for taking part in the poll everyone. So it seems that most people want to see what happens next in Divinity II. I've already made a good start on it.
I'm also chuffed to see that opinions are quite diverse, rather than being stacked in one overwhelming direction. Variety as an editor is really helpful. It helps counter the burnout. So thank you.
So Divinity II...

I've actually been able to rough cut the whole video in just two days. This was because in the prior scrubbing, I was able to earmark quite a lot of scenes for the follow up. Meaning I had about two thirds ready to go in a pre-prepared timeline.
From there, it's mainly a question of trying to decide where the ending should go. Either in the hound kennels just prior to escaping Fort Joy. Or continuing into the undead swamp.
It's something I can decide later. As the video starts looking more complete. And will probably be determined on where the best closing joke is.

But specifically, I know that there are certain things I wanted to show in the second half:
Being the second part, this is very much in medias res - in the middle of the action. Meaning there's much less to setup compared to part 1. It's much less of a headache to deal with structurally and there's no advanced cinematics yet until the end of the whole chapter.
Additionally, the initial chaos of the party scattering in random directions collecting quests is beginning to be reined in. We're moving as a group more now. Meaning it's easier to just show what's going on without having to pull editing trickery.

So honestly, right now the plan is to just get straight into the keyframing. For the first two thirds of the video at least. And I don't anticipate any problems that I've not already resolved before.
The only open question being where the ending will be. So estimates on duration (and progress) will be pretty hazy for a while. I shall get straight to it and keep you updated.
Thank you everyone. And have a wonderful week.
