Good evening everyone, hope you're having a smooth week. So it's near the end of the third week of work on Divinity Bullshittery part 2 and I've managed to get to the end of the keyframing and animating. About to start the quality-assurance test renders.
Here's a quick shot of the whole timeline:

I think I've managed to fix the High Judge Orivand problem.
It took some extra hours over the weekend. But I was able to combine three different sources of video and audio - two from single player and one from the livestream itself - in order to paint over the cascade of errors. It's definitely an area for me to check carefully in the quality assurance.
I was still able to preserve the screw up of me misclicking a chair. But now it should transition into the NPC dialogue as though it wasn't rapidly skipped.

All-in-all the keyframing has gone fairly smoothly. And mechanically speaking this episode is far less complicated than the previous one. Being a direct continuation of the events previously shown. With no chapter breaks that might necessitate cinematics.
Those will come later as we enter chapter 2 of the story.
So the plan now, put simply, is to render the video and watch it back each nigh. Spotting genuine mistakes or areas that could use more polish, fixing them in big batches. By Thursday or Friday next week I imagine things will start to look near complete. And I also need to decide whether the current ending is suitable, or whether I should continue for a few minutes extra in the swamp outside Fort Joy, instead of leaving that for the start of part 3.
But overall, the editing continues smoothly and I'll get part 2 to you as soon as I can.
