Rau and Mu's self talking case is real as they can sense something, but still it doesnt even need to be a New-Type or some telepathy or what to behave like this, I believe when people play some online games, they could meet those character or clan which always in rival with, most of them could say something to themselves during the fight right, at least once right... About piloting, hand and leg controls those with decision making like power output and trigger of what weapon system you are currently at, mech's precise movement of finger, using a weapon, walking with both legs, etc of course is handle by computer procedures. Kira tweaked the OS to suit his logic, so the mech's OS which supposed to be used by Natural is now not suitable for Mu to handle in short time. Ramus at least understand how to command the crew, no a single one can fucking knows the whole ship okay, since she is one of those in charge of G-weapons, and those weapons are supposed assigned with Archangel ship, so you can expect she knows a little about the ship but since she is not the captain she gonna play with the ship a bit along with those crews, at the moment Mu is a fighter pilot not matter what rank he is in while Ramus is not a pilot and her rank is high enough to command a group of crew in a ship but she is not the original captain thats it I guess, these above you can figure out yourselves and no show is going to tell every single things right...
