I do love Cagliostro and Prelati's plan here. Cagliostro faked her death and later saved Prelati, and then the two of them spent all this time making one super powerful bullet that they planned to use against Adam. Interestingly, it's likely they chose a bullet because they fully expected Saint Germaine to swap sides and both of them trusted her with the killing blow. Instead, they had to use both the bullet and all their remaining life energy (which probably wasn't a ton for any of them at this point) to transmute the nuclear blast. Which, let's be fair, is a damn impressive feat. Absolutely no need to apologize about liking Saint Germaine so much, she's one of the most beloved characters. Everyone loves her and, in general, really loves this cast of antagonists. They're a fan favorite overall. Also, let's just imagine poor Adam's situation at the end of this episode. He hides in wait for that perfect opportunity to steal the victory at the very end, only for the doll he discarded to trip him and completely ruin everything. It's such a brilliant villain play, ruined by one singular bit of bad luck.
