Then I was right about everything! lol I think when Geese was listing the gods, we focused on the mention of Dragon God at the time since Human God had mentioned him in the past.

By Geese during the carriage ride to the city, he listed the Seven Great Powers in order of strength. As a refresher, the order listed by Geese in episode 15 is: Technique God, Dragon God, Battle God, Demon God, Death God, Sword God, North God. Laplace isn't the hero up there, that's Perugius. Laplace was the Demon God who was defeated by Perugius after the "Laplace War" 400 years ago (the demon vs human war that Roxy talks about in episode 2, where the Sperd go berserk. And we learn about Perugius beating Laplace during the war from Ghislaine/Eris in episode 6 "Day off in Roa") A lot of characters we've only heard mentioned once or twice, so ya it can get confusing. Luckily (or maybe not?) you have people like me who have watched this show way too many times!
