[SILVER] Fate/Zero (Episode 7) "The Evil Forest"

Comments

About the imaginary part, in Fate's logic, to our humanly rational world, imaginary thing is fake to us and the public mass in the story, but real in imaginary side of the world, consider it as one of the parallel world bubble with a large degree of divergence that formed two large branch of reality on earth with totally different concept, one ruled by human law which is present day thanks to Gil's rebel to the Gods, and one by mystery or spritiual like in God's Age. The surface of earth, the world is just depend on who viewing it and Gaia will adjust the history and reality to fit that(normally Gaia wouldn't adjust anything and leave the world progress as it be unless someone capable of altering event that have big enough impact to even history). In the other hand those other possibilities fall into imaginary layer, they are in the stats of existing to those outside of the world but not known by those who living within. Similiar to Kiritsugu's inner reality marble, his time manipulating or teleportation ability, imagine he making himself transparent to the world's adjustment or observers from the outer world, that he entered a stat that can somewhat flow through easier between space and time without restricted by the usual pressure of time-space bonding, but at the cost of hurting his material vessel, in his case he is deceiving the world in time axis while servant's physical axis thanks to mana's properties and mana as their building blocks, mana is like a subtance contain both spiritual and material properties, by this servant can take physically form in our reality world at the same time able to dematerialize to bypass physical realm. Archibald actually come from that lower level room before he found Kiritsugu, so he just falls back to that room which he is from. By the way, his mercury familiar can check every places by extending its tentacle, so can be assumed that he had his surroundings checked before he proceed, might be even capable to figure out the map of enemy stronghold with this. And setting up traps all over your living place is costly and unpractical, as you can see Kiritsugu did set up some at essential place like entrance hall. And the part Kiritsugu constantly throwing bunch of bullets at Archibald's mercury barrier and even alerted Archibald before shooting, Kiritsugu studied his opponent well so it is on purpose, to make his opponent lowering his guard so he gets full of himself and always standing still making a good target for Kiritsugu's special gun, good observation there. Thats why he is afraid of Kirei because he is fully awared that he is unable figured out a plan when facing Kirei as he can't understand his motive, personality or anything else. (Spoiler: Archibald actually is pretty good for a mage, just with some side effect of been a strong one from the day he was born, like some mental flaws, plus Kiritsugu has limited stock of that bullet, if he can't finish off his opponent the moment he use it, his opponent could react correctly afterwards, his sole advantage could be in vain)
