Yeah, the ED feels like a "You'll understand it after you see it" which is the best way to do it.

2024-03-10 02:55:36 +0000 UTCI love the use of Seffle particles here. We've been introduced to them as a deadly tool in close-quarters combat, used indoors. At this point in the original adaptation we would have already seen Kircheis use them in space, but not to quite this scale. Flooding a minefield with those particles is a perfectly logical counter to the entire defense setup. Modern militaries have specialized mine-clearing charges that launch a string of explosives to detonate a safe route through minefields. This is the same concept, just on an infinitely larger scale. Logically, the Empire would already have tools for clearing minefields that can be easily deployed. I just didn't expect them to be quite so massive in this adaptation, although it does make sense. Also, the ED is full of so many spoilers. It's hilarious. Nothing obvious as it's just still images, but lots of those images are from very important scenes much later in the series. It shocked me until I realized they're not obvious without context.
