I always love the asides to Ruenthal and Mittermeyer. They're not too plot-relevant yet, but they're the two members of Reinhard's fleet that you see more often than any of the others. Most of the scenes are just the two of them drinking together and discussing Reinhard's actions. It helps to set up that they're more important than the rest of the group, even if they haven't done anything to stand out yet. At the same time, they're the two the Kircheis mentions when he says he's working on the plan to deal with the nobles. They're important, but the viewer doesn't exactly know how or why yet.
