I LOVED hearing your thoughts! I'm really sorry it has been so long since I've seen S2 and didn't remember it actually being clarified about the Abh genetic thing. I was one episode too early. Yeah I forgot how S2 kinda drags here. I wonder too how the book handles these scenes and if there was more content? Another great reaction thanks!

LOL I'm not mad at you about your rant! As my previous comment said I agree with with you mostly. Its just that 3rd party gene argument that gives me some pause.

2024-04-11 18:12:52 +0000 UTCI'm literally sitting here laughing and enjoying the "Ship of Abh" comment! I never thought about some of the things you said about what makes an Abh an Abh. I just viewed it all through a simple lens "of course you'd need the Abh to make someone genetically into an Abh". Great point and I think I partially agree! You are not a full Abh if you don't descend from the original 29 families. Which is why I think the Baron had such an inferiority complex. He didn't feel like he was actually an Abh because he doesn't have such heritage. However, I think a point could be made that if the Abh introduce genes from a 3rd party, genes that comes from a real Abh, does that change anything? Like take the genes from the father and mother, and dabble in a 3rd person's genes that come from any Abh, does that make the Baron a full-on Abh now? This stuff gets my brain going. Thanks for making me think some more about this :)
