Regarding pre-episode talk about curses: Griffin is right here. The Man-God said Laplace transferred *his* curse into the spears. S1 E21, "Laplace transferred his curse of fear to the spears and passed it on to the Sperd" So Griffin's question is actually pretty interesting, and I'm kicking myself for not picking it up myself. From what Man-God said, Laplace's curse was a "curse of fear", and that's why it's so hard for people NOT to fear the Sperd. The urge to kill everyone after picking up the spears... where does that come from? Is that *also* part of Laplace's curse, or something else that was also transferred? I hope we'll find out eventually, since that seems like a big thing to not address. Post-episode talk: "If they meet, Eris is going to attack Sylphiette". lol... about this comment from Theta... I know you don't care about cut content since it doesn't matter in the anime, but something that was cut out of the anime from the LN was a talk during the walk back to the city from the cave. During the walk back, Rudy explained his story since they separated. Sylphie learned about Eris. The way Rudy phrased the story was Eris left because Rudy wasn't good enough for her (Because that's truly what Rudy believes). So now, in Sylphie's mind, Eris is the girl who abandoned Rudy, who tossed him aside after he escorted her all across the Demon Continent. So ya, if/when they DO meet, I fully expect both Eris and Sylphie to come out SWINGING, and I *can't wait*
