Apple iOS Users
Added 2025-03-03 17:20:09 +0000 UTCI'm not sure if any of you use the iOS for Patreon, but I just wanted to make everyone aware of a NON-CHANGE. I just received a message from Patreon stating:
"We’re writing to let you know that your Patreon has been updated to use Apple’s in-app purchase system. This means that all purchases of memberships and shop items through the Patreon iOS app will now include Apple’s 30% App Store fee."
This change would have increased prices across the board on all Membership Tiers. Thankfully, there is an option to keep the prices the same as they are and I'll just eat the 30% on my side. So that is what I've chosen to do. No chance I'd ask yall to pay more so Apple can make a little extra.
If you've scrolled to the bottom, the news is that there will be no changes. No fee's on your end.

But for me I do all my Patreon memberships through desktop and I hope anyone here reading this will do so the same so you don't have to bear that cost.
