2022-10-03 14:31:01 +0000 UTCMy 13 year old son is crazy good at dancing despite him having one parent not being able to dance at all, and one (me) who has the bodily control and musicality for it (I can jive and dance foxtrot/slowfox) but isnโt comfortable with dancing, especially not in a club. Sit dance ftw!

I have emotional scars about dancing too because of people being mean about my ~dancing techniques~ many years ago, so I avoid dancing since then. And avoid making jokes about how people dance, because sometimes it hurts more than it seems.
