Este sistema de construir las manos como si esculpieran un bloque de mármol, está pensado para que dibujen cada parte de este proceso y así visualicen este método mentalmente y puedan dibujar manos directamente con poco o nulo boceto.

Dibujen cada parte del proceso al punto de que no necesiten hacerlo mas.

This system of building the hands as if they were sculpting a block of marble, is designed so that they draw each part of this process and thus visualize this method mentally and can draw hands directly with little or no sketch.

Draw each part of the process to the point that you don't need to do it anymore.

1- Dibuja un rectángulo/Draw a rectangle.

2- Dibuja otro rectángulo en frente del primer rectángulo para crear un cubo/Draw another rectangle in front of the first rectangle to create a cube. 

3- Unimos las esquinas formando el cubo rectangular/Join the corners forming the rectangular cube.

 4- Dibujamos una línea cerca del centro del cubo esta línea es el metacarpo de la mano más prominente/We draw a line near the center of the cube. This line is the most prominent metacarpus of the hand.

 5- Como si fuera una caja, levantamos un poco la tapadera de la caja, obteniendo la forma de la mano/As if it were a box, we lift the lid of the box a little, obtaining the shape of the hand.

 6- Definimos la forma... "curveada" de la palma/We define the shape... "curved" of the palm.

 7- En los planos del cubo dibujamos un pentágono, esta es la forma correcta de la palma/On the planes of the cube we draw a pentagon, this is the correct shape of the palm.

 8- Similar a esculpir un bloque de mármol, definimos la forma pentagonal/ Similar to sculpting a block of marble, we define the pentagonal shape.

 9- Cortamos una parte del pentágono, la parte más ancha, generando una forma de cuña/We cut a part of the pentagon, the widest part, generating a wedge shape.

10- Ahora definimos la forma, así es la palma de la mano/Now we define the shape, this is the palm of the hand.

 11- En la parte cortada colocamos los cuatro planos rectangulares de los dedos, como si fueran hojas de papel/In the cut part we place the four rectangular planes of the fingers, as if they were sheets of paper.

 12- Copiamos el plano de los dedos y lo pegamos un poco mas adelante de los primeros planos/We copy the plane of the fingers and paste it a little ahead of the first flat plane.

 13- Unimos las formas creando dedos sólidos/We join the shapes creating solid fingers.

 14- Del lado del dedo índice, creamos un bloque donde colocaremos nuestro dedo pulgar que es un plano rectangular más corto/On the side of the index finger, we create a block where we will place our thumb that is a shorter rectangular plane.

 15- Al pulgar le damos su forma copiando el plano y pegándolo más adelante uniéndolo formando un cubo alargado/We give the thumb its shape by copying the plane and pasting it later, joining it to form an elongated cube.

 16- Ya conocen el proceso de construir manos sólidas y precisas, el propósito es conocer este proceso y mentalizarlo para que tengas una idea más concreta y sólida al dibujar manos y no hacer tantos bocetos/You now know the process of building solid and precise hands, the purpose is to know this process and mentalize it so that you have a more concrete and solid idea when drawing hands and do not do a lot of sketches.
