🏎️ Ask a question for our Spanish GP podcast!

Hey everyone! The time has come for us to ask for your questions for a post-race F1 podcast for the first time here on Patreon!

Post a question in the comments below and Edd will select some to appear in Sunday night's Spanish Grand Prix review show.

We'll then try to get through as many as possible later in the week either in our next regular show or a members-only 'F1 Extra'.

So let's hear it, what do you want to know from this weekend?

How do we explain Alpine’s sudden turn of form, and will it be sustainable over the rest of the season?

Alexandre Bourgeois

Sauber looked better than they have in a while (no headline visit to VB sympathy corner?). Are there any positive takeaways for them this weekend, or were they primarily benefitting from other teams’ low performance?

Grace Ford-Dirks

What are your thoughts on the recent spat of drivers either brake testing, running into or running drivers off the road when they are impeded? Happened twice this weekend and we've had other incidents such as Verstappen on Lewis in imola this year, is there a dangerous trend forming in F1 ?

Should we be concerned about Ferrari’s in-season development — or lack there of? It’s a little worrying to see them finish behind the Mercedes — who brought no upgrades for themselves — despite a major upgrade. On that note, could Lewis begin to rue his decision to leave Mercedes? With their newfound form and rumors of the 2026 power unit I could only imagine he’s having second thoughts on Ferrari.

It’s another race where Sainz putting his desires cost the team, Leclerc had pace to fight for the podium but his useless fight with Carlos at the beginning cost not only Leclerc but the team. Why didn’t the team order swap places. Sainz has a history of this behavior, Silverstone, Austria 2022, China 2024. I believe this behavior played a large part in both Mercedes and Red Bull passing on him because he doesn’t play the team game and only cares for his results

Nevin Knowles

Why did the upgrades not work for the RB’s - they were nowhere during Qualifying and the race

Tamara Salter

Spain was the first time both alpines got into q3. Is this a false dawn or is Alpine starting to get back on an upward trajectory with this car?

Titan420

Hi my favourite team. Do you think strategy is costing Mclaren a better shot at more wins? Is this a sign they aren't ready to win regular races?

Andrew Ferg

Do we have a genuine fight now that we’ve seen a close race on the racetrack that benchmarks car performance?

Dan

Will landos negativity ( post race radio) hurt him if and when he gets into a championship battle?

Gavin Cameron @ the_loft_workshop

Considering how essential the DRS was to making passes, will the 2026 regs promote more stagnant racing as drivers would use the push to pass in defence? Or will the wheel to wheel barging and block passes be enough to promote grid mobility?

Jasper Pendlebury

Given the 2026 regs want to make cars smaller and lighter, and given the racing offset strategies can create - is it time to reconsider the fuelling ban in F1? You'd encourage potentially more offset strategies, more pitstops, and the historical lower overtaking could be offset by the modern hybrid regulations.

Gareth Anstee

Why did Leclerc not get a penalty for driving into Lando Norris? Stroll had a very similar incident with Lewis but was far less dangerous due to the speed and the way stroll positioned his car but Charles was erratic and down right dangerous. Scary precedent set in FP3.
