just pay off Haas to swap Checo out for Hulk at this point if you don't trust any of your own drivers. Surely he's the driver with the most to offer that they could possibly afford.

I can't help wondering if Checo is a modern day Giancarlo Fisichella. Fisi was "brilliant in a bad car", to paraphrase Jenson Button. Checo was brilliant at Team Silverstone and was strongly backed by many people to be hired by Red Bull over Albon for 2021.

I feel you are being harsh on the Red Bull junior program. It’s accomplishing what Marko wants it to accomplish. To then praise Mercedes junior program is just baffling. They have one of their juniors driving for them, one not. Their reserve driver is a Ferrari cast-off that they don’t feel confident enough to put in the Merc seat (despite Toto saying he should be in the grid). Vesti is gone. Ocon never drove for Merc. Where is Weirleihn? Aron? The Red Bull junior program is doing just fine. Hesitating on pulling the trigger (which may happen soon anyway) shouldn’t be an indictment of the whole program.
