Losing the Language of Myth and Villainy

Not Greyhawk-specific (although I do use a few examples from the best fantasy setting), I discuss the implications of recent changes by WotC to the 5E rulebooks on the storytelling aspects of D&D.

I was going to do this whole rant, but it’s so draining… constantly trying to fight this woke garbage. I hate WotC. I hate Hasbro. And now Paizo is going all wokey, too.

I have everything in immutable print and PDF form. Maybe in their chase for new markets this is somehow beneficial, but they'll never sell anything to me ever again. Interestingly enough, I did buy some 5E materials when it became obvious that things were standardizing in that direction. That said, I disliked the game system and they collect dust now. I wonder if this actually gets them much in the end, but it's mostly just a voyeuristic interest.

Joe, you called it in one of your prior videos earlier this year regarding the possibility of retroactive edits to digital versions of previous publications.

Agreed. The current WotC D&D should be an example in the dictionary under the definition for milquetoast.
