Season 19 - VIP Format Votes

Hello Everyone,

Here's the vote for next season's VIP Trophy changes; you have a number of options, so please vote on as many you'd wish to IMPLEMENT as possible.

Note; you're able to vote if you're just a spectator of the series as currently, we do understand that it might be a little complicated to watch as well.

YOU HAVE UNLIMITED VOTES IF YOU'RE HAPPY WITH ANY, VOTE FOR ALL OF THEM; WE WILL TAKE THE ONE THAT HAS THE MOST VOTES!

The track list will be announced later this week.

Below is an explanation of all the options:

Option 1

This is the current setup of the VIP Trophy from season 18.

• Allows for "more strategy" however the best strategy is splash and dash unless you're either skill limited by tyres, or car limited on tyres in which case you're at a disadvantage.

Option 2

This is the setup from the Weekend Warrior and allows you to undercut your opponent if you can make the tyres last till the end of the race, giving you better strategy options with your racing opponents.

• Gives the opportunity for better "racing strategies" against your peers.
• Allows for early incidents to not have too much effect on your race if you are able to manage tyres.

Option 3

This is similar to Option 1, however, forces a tyre change but with no Pit Window as well as allowing for refuelling, basically meaning the best time to stop is 30 minutes in the race.

• The "hotlappers dream" allows for pits even if you're involved in incidents without it ruining your race; but may allow for more early race incidents.

Option 4

This is a mandatory stop with Refueling allowed but no Tyre change (forcing you to pit mid-race for the best strategy).

• With cars that are bad on tyres, or setups which are really aggressive it's more of a "baby the tyres" strategy. 

Option 5

This is option 3 but with a smaller pit window so you have to pit in the middle of the race.

• Basically, the "hotlappers dream" however; it means early incidents are costly this could be good or bad.

Option 6

Option 2, but with a fixed pit window so it's easier to track the cars who have pitted and also forces early mistakes to cost more as if you pit outside of the pit window it won't count.

• Forces drivers to drive carefully in the first stages of the race as they'll be outside of the pit window
• Gives more racing options as per 2.

Option 7

The same settings as the 45-minute races; however the 60-minute races and with a 15-minute pit window.

• - Allows for the choice of whether to keep track position or take tyres.
