Well, why is YT bad for sharing? You can still watch the video inside Facebook without opening another window. But I guess you can share Facebook videos, as long as they are uploaded by the original creator (or at least a page that isn't stealing it for views).

Does this mean that I should NOT share videos on FB? YouTube is cool, but not for quickly sharing an awesome video with a lot of people. But I also don't want to be hurting your numbers/income.

Hey tekbit, it's infeasible from a technical perspective to prevent Web video from being downloaded by anyone who is willing to do so. This is because if it's possible for a program to display the video on the screen it's also possible for it to save the same information into a new file. There are (shady) websites that automate that process for non-technical freebooters.
