Sorry i've been quiet, but i have something to shoooow you! 83~
Here! Have the first 4 completed pages of my new short comic Vessels for Night Things. (I decided the title Final Stop wasn't descriptive enough, so I think the new title feels a bit more creepy and supernatural.)
The two characters are Ruaridh (sounds like Roorey) and Kieran (Gotta have some good ol' Irish and Scots names in there!)
Ruaridh is the big Ginger wolf. He's your outdoorsy type and likes to keep things simple, and Kieran, is the slightly smaller lizard boyo. He's a bit of a hornball with something of a one track mind and lives by the mantra of trying everything once. They both complement (influence?) each other in that regard, a fact that will be expounded on later when we introduce the other...
They're very good friends with benefits who've known each other since school, and have returned to a camping site they've been to a few times before. I wonder if this one will be like all the other times, or something more.
I hope you enjoy how this looks! Tried a bit of an aggressively black shading scheme. Wanted to really make the characters feel like they were (sort of) alone in the woods :3
Let me know what you think of course. I aim to get 4 more pages out next month too!

2021-05-22 18:13:55 +0000 UTCThanks cloud! I've tried to be conscious of the colour schemes i've been using too. Stuff intended to pop a lot more. Lately i've been trying to quit overloading my pictures with distractions. Curate, hone in on the experience a bit i suppose lol XD
