Last Call for Postcard Perk

this is a reminder that we will retire the Postcard Perk at the end of this month. It will no longer be available in August.
Everyone pledging for the postcard tier this month will receive their last postcards in August.
After that, no more cards will be sent out.
You are free to keep pledging the same amount (without receiving postcards anymore) or chose any other tier of your liking.

2022-07-30 18:50:36 +0000 UTCOne thing is still unclear to me: if I wish to receive the final postcards, but not be charged for August, when do I change my pledge? I looked at changing it now, and Patreon indicated I would receive a credit. This is the last month I have the money to spare, so I would like to know with certainty when to change my pledge. Edit: I just checked my Patreon receipt from July 1st, and it indicates that I have already been charged for July as you charge up-front instead of at month end. This seems to contradict me receiving a credit for changing my pledge during the month of July. I am very confused.

2022-07-18 15:13:21 +0000 UTCEveryone (regardless of first-time pledgers or long-time pledgers in that tier) who pledges on that tier in July gets the last postcards in August. You don't have to remain on this tier through 1 of August. As long as you pledge in July, your good ;-) But, if you continue pledging on that tier in August, there will not be any more postcards sent out in September.

It either says "you can still get in if you change to the postcard tier during July, but whoever is in that tier on 1 August, that's it" or "whoever was already in the postcard tier on 1 July is all, it's too late to get in, but you have to remain on this pledge tier through 1 August to still get one" Which statement is correct?
