2021-04-26 18:53:02 +0000 UTCI didn’t really think of it like that, thanks for explaining. I still just honestly wasn’t able to connect with a lot of it compared to other recent movies I’ve seen. Still liked it but definitely might need to rewatch and see if I can get more into the story haha.

2021-04-26 18:07:21 +0000 UTCOh Nick man. The whole point is a simple story it’s not supposed to be elaborate just a mother who gains the courage she lacked to be able to save her family. Really think about it after her husband died she probably would be more afraid of the world, yet look at what she did just for her sick child: She made friends with a crow, Went to talk to the Great Owl that Mr. Ages even says nobody comes back from, Went into the rosebush where the rat of NIMH were and pleaded her case for help for her son, Went into the farmhouse drugged the cat that killed her husband, was captured by humans and escaped and to top everything off when nobody else was able to save her drowning family it was her Mrs. Johnathan Brisby the exact same one who lacked the courage in the beginning of the film by the end gained the strength and courage she lacked and did what the people she asked for help could not do thus why the stone was able to help her.
