you were right Nick: the actor for Zidler was also the actor for Slughorn haha good eye! also most of the songs in this movie are remakes of classic songs. I think the only songs that were originals were "Come What May" and "Spectacular, Spectacular" (someone please correct me if I'm wrong). the rest were remakes of classic songs. one of my favorites was the Elephant Song mash-up of classic love songs. I also always get really emotional at the end when Christian is walking away during the show and Satine starts singing "Come What May" and she belts out "...and forgive everythinggggg!" I always get chills and start crying from then on in the film lol glad you enjoyed it!

2021-09-16 18:53:29 +0000 UTCFUN FACT: One of the last song is by Freddy Mercury from Queen "The Show Must Go On" where it was about him trying to carry on while fighting his losing battle with AIDS. One of my favorite songs, I recommend listening to Freddy's version...it's heartbreaking.
