Equipped with sails and rows of oars fit for seafaring, the otherworldly origin of its signature material hints at its spacefaring prowess.
Sometimes an astral vessel is little more than a ramshackle craft stitched together around a frame and equipped with a helm. In this case, it's the recycled detritus of old ships cobbled into the skeleton of a great whale. The grandeur of the beast is somewhat undermined by the flimsy nature of the vessel, and it's far from being the most seaworthy, but such a craft is favored by astral raiders seeking to intimidate trade ships, and thus has a menacing reputation.
