Going slowly to avoid slipping, or put a sort of carpet and Ellie slides down, a bit like a toboggan. Another option is to attach a code to her neck and bring her down.

2024-04-26 14:44:44 +0000 UTCCrossed my mind for the briefest of moments, but then I remembered this would directly (hell, even literally) breach Meg's promise from their first meeting, take a sledgehammer to the emotional structuring of this scene, be very out of character for Meg in general, and violate the first principle - as there's really no way to make pushing someone down the stairs safe. Ain't that kind of comic.
