Weekly Update 04.01.25

Hello everyone! This week I'm aiming to finish up page 68 and Kou32's commission.

I would have had page 68 done by now but my office assistant/cat Tatsu needed emergency surgery. Turned out he'd swallowed some hair bands and it obstructed his stomach, so yeah, it's been a stressful couple days for the little guy. He's home recovering now. Very grumpy as he has to wear a cone and can't be running or jumping around.

So I'm going to be taking on some extra commissions to cover Tatsu's surgery. This will slow down page production for the next week or so, but trust me, the little guy is worth it, and we're still gonna get some great art out of it! I'll start by going through the requests that were already sent in, but if you'd like to submit a commission and haven't already, go for it! I'll announce my official picks next Monday.

The thing that's been slowing me down the most by far is the bedroom remodel. They said it would take 3 days. I said, 'just wait, it'll take two weeks.' We are now on week three. I swear, every step forward comes with two steps back; wood rot, mold, faulty electrical, and then we ran out of floor panels, ordered more and for some reason the new ones don't match up...it's been an experience. Fortunately, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, I just pray that it gets wrapped up this week.

At least taxes are finished. :)
