Question for you guys:
Added 2017-11-14 03:03:48 +0000 UTCOne of my goals was to get a camera to make little things here and there for people to enjoy. Those "moment in the life" of tex in meat-space. However, I've found that with those I've put out there, people really do not care for it. Me not having made them in a while has resulted in only a single complaint whereas nobody else has noticed.
Is this important to you guys or not?
Now to explain the situation:
I have unfortunately had quite a few issues in my real life that have taken a lot of my money in addition to patreon moneys in order to . . well, do things like eat not ramen or get my POS car moving a little better and a little less death-trappy. However, I am approaching the point where I could possibly start to spend money on not just pure survival.
If this is important to you guys, I'll certainly try to finally acquire a camera for just that. If it isn't, I wont pursue it and will change a goal. However I'd rather not pursue things that people aren't very interested in. I could always pursue other things people tend to enjoy - like ridiculous space station 13 art, or funny commercials for my videos like big man tyrone, etc.
Tell me what you think guys.
Lets brainstorm together.

One of my favourite videos of yours is your rant about travelling through Kansas. If you’re talking about making more content like that, with or without video, then it would be awesome.

If you have to make a choice betweeen spending the money on yourself so that you can survive/make life comfortable or spending it on the camera to make something new for us (essentially spending the money on us in a way) I'd say spend it on you. Keeping you alive and happy means you can continue to produce the quality content you always have. I'd rather you do that than spend money on something you may not use much and possibly come to need those funds later and not have them. Should you buy the camera and make those videos I won't complain though.

If you feel the urge to create some meat space videos, you don't really need a GoPro -- your phone should suffice. If they don't feel like a good fit for YouTube, maybe post here and/or Twitter? Or maybe start BPL SnapChat/Instagram accounts? I feel like you could do it in a way that doesn't add much extra cost/hassle to your life.
