Hey all.

So I did think twice about sharing this as it's quite a give away, but it's taking up so much time that I figured I should anyway. While progress is still being made, it has unfortunately slowed. Mainly due to the fact that I'm masking quite possibly the hardest character to date.

It's my fault! I shouldn't have come up with the scene 😂!

It's literally taken me a whole 24hrs collectively to do just 3 seconds of his head. Mainly because it's so challenging knowing what's what, as the background is hard to differentiate for most of his shots. Thankfully two shots can be keyed with only minimal clean up required so careful planning of the sequence has been necessary to prevent wasted masks. And as much as we hate A.I, I did try several softwares, to no avail. But nothing replaces frame-by-frame masking.

Still, getting there, even if it is one slimy tentacle at a time! Hope you're all doing ok during these uncertain times. Will update again, soon.
