Now The Bad News - Computer Issues, Recordings Lost

My new computer is excellent, except for one thing.

When I make a file I save an Audacity backup and export an mp3 and a .wav of the session, while I'm working on it as well as when I finish it.

All of these, without fail, I discovered today when going in to work on something I've been making... are corrupted.

Anything I made on the other workstation is fine so I had the Creature of Impulse and Butt Bunny Pack. Recovery efforts lose a lot of data even when I try hard at it, so I'm gonna have to start recording several pieces from scratch including Butt Bunny 3 - Strapon Sleeve (except the tiny snippet I released as a sample), Centaur Transformation from Trials in Tainted Space (specifically fucking the two big breasted Leithan sisters in the bar on Poe A), The Weight 1 and 2 (a weighted blanket simulation trance with stage trance elements, and a file to accompany an actual weighted blanket if you have one, respectively), Incubus Apotheosis and Succubus Apotheosis (harem-style sexual fantasies in the style of the old Succubus Harem files), and Just A Little More Latex 3-5.

Am I an idiot for not exporting to a different device altogether? Yes.

Everything worked fine when I tried to reopen same day, but my pc restarted for updates and now every file which opened before reads as thoroughly corrupted and unuseable. So I'm switching to Audition as a test, on the same box, and if that fails I'm going to have to use my secondary box for all recording and shuffle the recording room. No big, only aggravating.

All new releases are slowed a bit by this, but expect me to resume toward the end of the month, and maybe publish some writing or choose your own adventure game demos I've been tinkering with as a stand in. 

About time I took some time to handle site improvement and to put up things on youtube anyway.  The polls end in 6ish days btw so make sure you vote in those.
