Remake of Rouge!!!

I was looking at old drawings, and I stumbled upon this one... and every time I see it I just cringe... Like... Is so bad! AAAHH! So I decided to do a lil remake of it including the white void as background, to see how much I progressed.

Old one is from June 2017, so pretty much a 6 year gap...

I do feel like I have improved, but rather slowly... I made this one as freehand as I could, not trying to force any style in particular so is as raw to my skills and style as I could do. I think that this one was some of the first drawings I started to do when I tried to branch out as a furry artist. I think the biggest improvement I can see is that the color of shadows and highlights feels so much better! Not as bland and desaturated as they were

I even forgot to paint her nose in the og one and didn't even tried to draw her other arm and hand xd
