Something to NOTE
Added 2019-10-16 13:19:29 +0000 UTC A further thing worth looking at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQk_7Jo7ipg&list=PLI27Za9sqyRWKn-iG4G9Rg4__OS6dEc0v This is Mr. Welch. Mr. Welch is a legend. Yes, that Mr. Welch of Mr. Welch's list of things you can't do in an RPG. He's very responsive to his community and we've had him on our content before. This is his list of 'mad musings' on RPGs wherein he reviews the good, the bad and the exceptionally weird. I'd HIGHLY recommend you suggest awful RPGs to him to review. Synnabar is uh, great. Watch that. That's how NOT to write a game world.
I am vacationing right now, I am doing a vacation, at least from making content. Again, my real vacation starts at the end of this month till the start of the next. I intend on getting drunk and eating BBQ for days. I have made no other major plans. This is a first for me. Planning to not plan.
I did break one thing, well, kinda. You know how I kinda stopped making content and such? You know, that uh, promise because I had so much content anyways? Well, I kinda broke that promise a little bit. Yeah yeah, I know, pitchforks but let me share something with you.
In short, a fan reached out. A member of the legion is a cancer survivor and he told me the only thing that got him through the long long bouts of Chemo was my stupid space station 13 long-plays. I honestly didn't know how to handle that, at all. I mean, I've had a lot of people say a lot of things about my content, mainly "Why do you do this" and "Holy shit you won't shut up" and "Please stop". I thought he was joking, but he insisted that yes, this is what helped him beat cancer. In the legion we named him Bast the Unkillable (because his name was bast before, and well, we apply nicknames all the time, most of them insane inside jokes) .
Bast told the legion this week that sadly, his cancer is back. We all offered to do whatever we could to help him out. I made enough space station 13 to last him well to christmas. He begins treatment soon so if you Guys are the praying type, intercede with your deity on his behalf. He's a good man and repairs/rebuilds pinball machines as a hobby, sometimes as a job.

Speaking as a former long-term occupant of a medical bed myself (does a menengioma count as cancer? What if they lost the biopsy? Never sure whether to count myself as a cancer survivor or not) I can tell you that your silly stupid bullshit videos are *exactly* the sort of thing that can keep a patient sane. They're long, soothing, relaxing, funny and fun, just engaging enough to distract without being strenuous. Don't sell yourself short. Bast- if you see this, good luck. Me and mine will talk to ours in your behalf.
