As far as peoples questions regarding my opinion on mechwarrior 5 go: it isn't out yet. I highly doubt it will surpass the scope and size of MW 2 mercs or the fun of MW 4 mercs. I hope for the best, but my worst fears are thus:
1. More effort will be spent hyping and advertising the game through streaming/YouTube than actual game development.
2. Most content will be locked behind DLC or expansions.
3. Lack of decent mod support.
4. Shit tier AI
5. Bad multiplayer or the focus changing to PVP mode only
I hope none of this comes to pass.
