January Soon, new year, new projects.

Okay boys and girls, here's the situation:

1. I will dedicate myself, here and now, to not exceed reasonable work expected for a part-time YouTube personality. In years past I would put out a video a day, or at the very least 5 a week. I did this for years in addition to working very hard in meatspace, and ergo my health suffered. I won't be doing that anymore, and I know you guys again and again will back me on this because you guys insisted I not kill myself for production value. I won't abuse this trust. I will do what I'm capable of, and no more.

2. I am working on the next Tex Talks Battletech. It's going to be a big one, and I keep finding things I want to say on the subject. So you'll hopefully enjoy a much deeper dive than I initially wanted to do. This leads me to number 3.

3. I could literally read the wiki, or repurpose old assets, or use text to speech to pound through the lore an episode a day. But I've resolved not to do that. I've resolved to talk about Battletech in the way I want - with quality in mind, and never to worry about how quickly we can get it out. We've only EVER done one episode on TTB that was in a time-constrained manner, and that was the Tukkayid episode. I feel confident that you guys would want me to do the best job I can, in that way your money is going toward a quality production.

4. Some questions have been raised regarding what the funding pays for, so I'll tell you plainly thus: Editors, assistant editors, taxes, whiskey, more taxes (I have an income already, so all this stuff more or less gets taxed at an insane rate at the end of the year), and the occasional steak. Unless there is some significant catastrophe, I would never want to do youtube for a job. Depending on this as a source of income would sour what I do. I'd rather use this as an outlet, and help where possible. 

5. As people who've been supporting for a while well know, this is your monthly reminder to NOT support me if you have any bills or significant pressing financial obligations. Real life, meatspace, and your well-being must always come forward. I appreciate the support, but see to your damn self first, fuckos.
