A nice Update and some other things
Added 2020-04-17 14:40:24 +0000 UTC1. Podcasting has been pretty damn fun. It requires little effort other than moving the mouth hole and that's easy. There will be episodes whenever we feel like it but I've lined up some guests for the near future and I'm very excited to see where this can go. I'm intending to answer some questions in future podcasts so thanks for putting those to us.
2. Tex Talks Battletech: Mike and I are nearly at the end of what we call the "Bare Bones". That's the timeline complete with all the pictures in it, audio processed and ready. This is without the commercials, polish, fine tuning, animations, or even the soundtrack. Next step is a watch or three, and then fine tuning it as we farm lines out for the commercials to those parties involved and then we watch again afterwards. I usually save scoring for last because I have to be in the right mood to score something 2 hours long. That and, scoring is harder than it seems because the music has to compliment whats happening without overpowering it. That's the hard part.
3. We are looking at potentially releasing this some-time in Early May. Which fits, because it's about the time of the battle of Tukkayid #NEVERFORGET and lets us shame clanners appropriately. Seriously, we didn't plan this but it does have a nice poetry to it. It's been almost a year since the Tukkayid video and my god, looking back at all we've done since, its amazing. Many big studios take years to make a 2 hour video. We've made several this last year alone. Thanks to you guys for that.
4. The road ahead. . .
Many legionnaires have stepped up to make some great content for the interim. We're looking AT LEAST in having similar volumes of content in May. I may leave the Battletech Video up by itself for a week so the Algorithm doesn't completely fuck it. I've had fans complain in the past that they never got the notification for the battletech videos when I put something up afterward. So I may leave it a week on its own. Worry not, the rest of the month will be chock full of content.
Once this crisis passes and I'm back to normal working conditions (Read: Not insane hours at home, but less insane hours at a worksite) I'm committing to working on this whole work/life balance thing. I will not kill myself to do youtube. That's silly. And you guys would kill me if I even tried. I'm thinking of doing 2 things a week. I think that's sane. Probably ss13 and something else. I think that would be a fair use of my time, and let me try to have fun.
5. Plans within plans within plans...
More insane things to come. Trust me in that.

This is a lot of good news. I've really been enjoying the content of the podcasts and can't wait to see who the legion brings on and what gets discussed. I will probably be trucking through the whole Clanner Part 2; Bloodfueled Genetic Rage Boogaloo as soon as I can. May looks like it's going to be great! I'm also glad you're going to continue putting effort into not killing yourself to entertain us. We can't have your entertainment without you. Same goes for Mike. He better not be working himself to death either.

2020-04-17 15:11:58 +0000 UTCThese are all wonderful things! Been loving the podcast too, on the skeleton king's take on WH40k and jfc I had stopped paying attention but I had no idea it had gone this far south.
