The Next 90 days (A snapshot)

Gentlemen, Here's what the next 90 days are going to look like at least insofar as my creative space:

May: Videos almost every day, Podcast shitposting whenever, until the 20th. Then TTB Launches on the 20th with part II of Exodus to Elementals. It's taken a long while but you have to understand they take forever to make. I'd rather do a goddamn great job than read straight up from the wiki verbatim. That video will be the only video "new" from the 20th till the end of the month so folks can see it as I've overwhelmingly been notified that folks notifications aren't working properly.

June: Back to daily videos. A lot of really funny shit from Legionnaires has started to pop up. We've got all sorts of fun nonsense planned and I want you guys to know you will have a fair share of goofy fun to look forward to. Space Station 13, Rimworld, Indie games galore, some strategy, some other stuff too. Be on the look out. A lot of folks are taking this time to stretch their legs and with my encouragement have decided to be brave and try youtube out for the first time. Many of these are folks I think who would do well to have their own channel some day, and maybe with a little bit of love we could help them grow too.

July: Continued daily videos, but likely going to start throttling down. This is where we reach "Saturation" levels and Tex needs to back off. I used to make, as some of you may know, multiple episodes of things a day, for a very long time. It took its toll on me, creatively but also emotionally/physically. I'm a huge workaholic and I try my best to do my best as hard as I can - to the detriment of all other things. So, not wanting to continue that, I will throttle down to the new standard.

The "New Standard" as you guys have pushed me to will be the following (At least by initial estimation)

1. A thing or two a week, at most
2. Tex Talks battletech when we do them
3. Other fun projects (podcast)

This reduction of sheer volumes of time spent on youtube will mean, yes, there will be less "content". If that offends you to only get a thing or two a week, I can understand and absolutely encourage you to take your support (financial and otherwise) elsewhere. I believe firmly people should, and must vote with their feet when they're upset with the status quo. I'm doing it to be more healthy, and also pursue interests that are creative but not just "All the content". Again, this mass influx of content was an idea to get folks to have fun, create good stuff, and share it with the world in times that are....well, frankly fucking scary. I felt it was more important to show fun and love and good crazy stuff than wallow in misery and that's the route I chose. I'm humbled so many in the legion decided to join me on that endeavor, and so we have this wonderful ocean of madness.

Look forward to the future boys and girls, because its as bright as we can make it. Remember to look after yourselves, and please for the love of Christ, don't pay me if you have bills to pay first. Always, take care of yourself first.

I'm just gonna spend it on stupid stuff anyways.

Comments

I believe the quote is, "Shut up and take my money," and I add, "and also take care of you!" I also add, "Remember Tukayyid!" And, "Cappellans are about as useful as soleless shoes on Leggos."

When you go into The New Standard™ will there still be legion-produced videos? I've been digging some of the new stuff and would love to see some legion stuff mixed in. Or if there was a spin off channel for legion to upload to if they wanted? Just spitballing. Your health and sanity take priority.
