Thoughts and such: RE - Battletech
Added 2020-05-09 19:01:09 +0000 UTCOkay, I've decided on my next big 10 with feedback from youse guys, youtube, and so on. I took your input and realized I'd also announced the earlier list a few times, so I sandwiched these lists together:
1. (Part two of Exodus to Elementals) - this one we're doing right now
2. The Mackie and the rise of the Battlemech
3. The Rifleman
4. The Marauder (A lot of requests for this over the time we've done this)
5. The Warhammer (A lot of requests for this again)
6. The Charger Story (haha mech go brrrrt)
7. Wilkommen to the Lyran Commonwealth: A primer on Space Germans (Probably up to the Fedcom Civil War...otherwise it'd be 900 hours long and that conflict requires its own episode..s...and so on)

Keep in mind, I may switch these around depending on timetables as Mike is moving, and my work has been uh, hell. So I'll hope to get them out when I get them out. In the last 12 months we managed to get 8 whole episodes out, many of them feature-length so needless to say we work pretty damn hard. I appreciate your guy's kindness, understanding and patience.
Now, once these are "done" I think what I'm going to do is come up with a list that I want to cover and let you guys pick. I think looking at early star league and the beginning of the cycles of destruction and madness could be very interesting. Like the unification wars and first attempts to bring Star League into being. Fascinating stuff, there.
Further, keep in mind, I intend to hold myself to the 90 day plan as previously discussed... Again (I say this a lot) if the amount of content coming out isn't to your liking, please, please please take your money elsewhere or treat yourself to something pleasant.

I have a good reason not to use tanks, heavy fucking woods are better cover and focus fire on the vehicle side arcs. That said have you seen the SRM Carrier, it's scary.

It always actually made me wonder how much lore there is about it, aside from a few honorable mentions of being the first of many.

Given how shit that company is I would not be surprised if they struck anything based on one of the Macross designs.
