I was leery because I had just gotten hired but it was a crap company and I had a mean spirited captain. But hearing your perspective helped me realize I was worth more than that. Now I have a good job for better pay. Huzzah! Thanks all!

I can't wait for the podcast dump as I love star track episodes and cant wait for DH. question 1. is the train a passenger train or cargo because we don't want to piss off cargo. 2 even though you don't have a lot of time have you thought of doing a Tex talk guns I would love to hear your take on guns like the puckle gun or the martini henry.. Just keep going 1 step at a time.

Then I-81 was built, and the highway bypassed Ellisburg proper. It went from having multiple car dealerships, a nationally recognized horse racetrack... Hell, it's where some of the first organized crime occurred in the country... All gone. The town is a shadow of its former self. Its contributing villages are bigger than Ellisburg proper. It's just... Depressing to see.

But birthdays? Shit, I forget how old I am sometimes. Birthdays stopped meaning anything when the social circle scattered to the winds courtesy of being stationed at different places across the globe and going out and making it memorable with friends stopped being possible. Then again I'm also the kind of weirdo that doesn't like christmas so maybe I'm just a curmudgeon at heart. I dunno. Thanks for the input on CZ handguns. Im looking at them more because I've seen pretty much good things across the board for most of them. Brand loyalty is something I've gotten very, very wary of in the past decade. Speaking of, I would disagree. You -have- been done dirty by the algorithm. Just because you've gained something of a following doesn't diminish that they're screwing you over. Overcoming that to any degree doesn't rob you of your right to call it as it is. Thinking on it, talking about things slowly returning to some of the older means of doing things in some ways, this format for dialogue really does feel like it harkens back to the old forums of yore, where you would have a conversation spread across days and weeks. Its kinda nostalgic. Looking forward to the next update, best of fortunes to you in the interim!

While a lot of great writers have been overlooked during their lives, only to be rediscovered years or decades later (Charles Bukowski and Franz Kafka come to mind), their work was preserved in physical manuscripts for friends or relatives to unearth and publish. When it comes to things like YouTube videos... if somebody comes up with something truly brilliant but is buried by the algorithm, it's effectively lost for good. And with more and more media being digitalized, it seems to me that the only way for smart or creative ideas to ever reach the world is for them to gain immediate commercial success. Then again, the BPL's existence is proof that this hasn't truly become the case yet. So, there is still hope! Remind yourself of THAT the next time taking care of yourself becomes difficult.

But I feel the best thing one can do is be honest with and to yourself. And surround yourself with people who accept you, but push you to be better. Tex good to hear from you, don't accept no wooden nickels.
