GREETINGS AND SALUTATIONS LEGION PEOPLE

Henlo, Today is a text-based update, with an audio update to likely follow the following week. I am currently the fuck out of the region, trying to sit around and write in relative isolation largely away from my home, and locale. Thus far, It's proven effective as a workcation from a new place, and I've found some necessary reprieve from the daily grind.

At current, we're working on wrapping up inner sphere 101: which is intended to be a useful guide for starter folks in the setting with some basic slices of inner sphere stuff. Like who the hell the great houses are, or how FTL works and why that's kinda important, or warships, or the periphery, or why a specific person was an asshole.

It's a useful, shorter-focus, limited depth vehicle for getting people into the basics, which, again, I feel a lot of folks could benefit from. Lord knows I've had enough people ask for it. Other revisions, including to the charger, are ongoing though the charger is up next and is near ready for timeline production.

In short, we're good. Tex is on wifi.

Stay safe. I'll answer every question below, and from last week, this week. Ask away, and I'll see what I can do.

I hope it's pleasant weather, wherever you may be. I await Inner Sphere 101 with bated breath.

Don’t know what it is about it but doing the same work somewhere else and suddenly it’s not so much work I 100% feel you and is my favorite thing about more work from home time.

Hey Tex! Hope you're enjoying your respite a little. I tuned in to the WBPL76 stream the other Monday and it got me diving down the historical rabbit hole of naval conflict in the 18-1930s. With the battles of Tsushima and Jutland taking center stage what other actions or ships do you like to read on?

So Tex is pulling a Morgan Kell, got it. Enjoy the monastery, sir (because I'm going to go ahead and imagine that it's a monastery you're isolating at).

Hey Tex, unrelated question: I'm restoring an argentinian 1909 Mauser cavalry carbine that was butchered by it previous owner, but I'm having trouble removing the barrel from the receiver. The barrel is a total loss, with way too many hacks on it, so it surviving doesn't matter. Do you have any suggestions? Appreciate everything you do.

Out of curiosity, will the Innersphere 101 videos have any tips of the hat to the 40k exodus and other recent newbies to the universe?

Wonderful to hear! I hope it’s a productive and energizing time for you! Wishing you the best!
