A relatively brief update.

I love your stories and I love battletech im in my 40s and I was cleaning up garage I found my old minis from Jr high early 90s era while I choose to strip and repaint them I saved one with it bad paint job and horrible mold lines I choose for this mini to be my rememberince. While looking at this mini it dawned on me the good memories and the passion for battletech I saw in this mini are reflected if the passion you put in you videos for tex talks battletech I don't know you but I love your work and I understand why I listen to ever episode over and over again.

I'm not on discord much, but have thought it'd be good to get on the discord....

Hey Tex, Back at the end of last year when you and Dep were playing Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts, it got me thinking bout my grandfather. I knew he served onboard a destroyer in WW2, but that was it. A little bit of digging on my part and I not only found his ship, USS Ludlow DD 438, but found a digital copy of the cruise book that the crew had put together. Diving deeper I discovered that the “Lucky Lud” was a Gleaves class destroyer that did a lot of the escort heavy lifting until the Fletcher class was able to come on duty Do you have any insight or thoughts about the Gleaves class you might share with the class?

What are your overall thoughts on Alpha Strike, if any? Also, Blücher is a really good Napoleonic ruleset, it plays fast and has a good fog of war mechanic. There's a good module (or whatever you call it) for TTS for it. Enjoying your content as always.

Great to hear that the migraine is subsiding a bit. And thank you citizen for the wonderful and glorious image of pickle juice and milk (mom come pick me up I’m scared). I hope you know I wasn’t offended by being thanked, I’m just so used to folks offering it as a reflex or lip service that haven’t been effected by the Generational War on Terror like you have been. On to a happier note, what are some of the topics for Tex Talks History? I’ve listened to Dan Carlin and I get the most enjoyment out of topics I never expected myself to be interested in. King of Kings is an amazing three parter, super long-form discussion of the rise and fall of the Persian Empire. Check it out sometime. Can’t wait for the Charger video. Dig some pro-wrestling references.
