Silly Tex, you're not old hat. Hatt is old Hatt. Bad joke is bad, but I'm not sorry. Three cheers for the Magistratum Mundanus, havent finished episode 1 yet since the podcast is my work commute audio but its been a wild ride. It's disturbing how easily you slide into the accent for the watch lieutenant. Props to the whole group! I know the discussion about wet navy in BT has already run its course as to why its not prolific, but I have a question on the subject. If you have a planet with at least an earth equivalent amount of surface water, and an industrial capacity for terrestrial defenses but not enough output to have a major space-based SDS grid, would mounting naval lasers or similar capitol grade weapons on a large ship be a viable tactic? Unlike a fixed land position they can be mobile to avoid being blasted with ballistic trajectories from beyond effective range by ships with sufficient firepower. Add some escorts with enough CWIS equivalent weapons to prevent aerospace or missile attacks, and.... Glad to hear production continues. It's been fun watching things as they continue, even if a combination of my work schedule and Youtube fuckery meaning I'm not there for things when they initially launch. I'm in the early planning stages of making my own tabletop game, and i'm going to need to aquire a lot of skills in visual design, 3D modelling and writing to make it, But for the moment it'd help a ton if i could construct a template to put all the mech info into. I'll make sure to get over my hermit inclinations and give the Aux a poke. As for the shittiness of youtube: You get more of what you pay for, so if youtube pays for shit... Which is why i decided to pay for you instead ;)

One, they came out as being diagnosed with DID (Disassociative Identity Disorder). Two, they showed their own actual meatspace face. At the first instance a LOT of their fans suddenly self-diagnosed with DID, mental illness is 'trendy' among the kids it seems because it appears the younger generations are just that starved for a sense of community that they'll fake symptoms or even forgo that much and just declare without evidence (and drowning out the voices that want and need treatment and dignity) just for that dopamine hit from being recognized as part of an 'In' group. At the second, many of the fans who self-diagnosed found their favorite e-celeb's meatface to be ugly and then immediately and loudly 'De-Diagnosed', because mental illness and neuro-divergency are a fashionable coat you can just pull on and take off as it suits you apparently. The most disheartening thing for me though was one comment, a mini-essay (by the standards of these blipvert-esque platforms), and specifically one line, "...I know I'm late to the party, the face-reveal was HOURS AGO..." (Emphasis mine) I have to wonder, are the kids really alright?

Talking to my coworkers is fascinating... they'll sit and talk about the cars, boats and motorcycles they've purchased while I smile, nod and squirrel away every penny I can because I fought and clawed my way out of generational poverty and will NOT be going back if I can help it.
